1. Service Purpose
MamaRide is a ride-hailing app focused on providing safe, reliable, and respectful transportation — especially for women and families.
2. User Requirements
- Users must be at least 18 years old.
- All account information must be accurate and up to date.
- Abuse, harassment, or any form of discrimination toward drivers or other users is strictly prohibited.
3. Payment
- Payments can be made via Mpesa, card, or cash.
- A receipt will be sent automatically to the user's email or shown in the app.
- Late cancellations may result in a small cancellation fee.
4. Safety & Conduct
- All MamaRide drivers are verified and trained.
- An in-app emergency (SOS) button is available for your safety.
- MamaRide reserves the right to suspend or ban any user who violates these terms.
5. Privacy
We handle user data in accordance with Kenya's Data Protection Act and international standards (such as GDPR). We do not sell or misuse user information.
6. Liability
MamaRide is not liable for delays caused by traffic or unforeseen events. Complaints can be sent to: support@mamaride.co.ke
7. Updates
These terms may be updated occasionally. All users will be notified via the app or email in advance.
MamaRide - License & Partnership Plan
For Drivers
- All drivers must hold a valid PSV license and complete MamaRide onboarding training.
- Drivers are given access to the MamaRide app but do not own the brand or app rights.
- A commission system applies: MamaRide receives 15% from each completed ride.
For Partners & Franchisees
- Any third-party individual or company wishing to operate under the MamaRide brand must sign a licensing agreement.
- The agreement will define the use of the brand name in a specific region (e.g., MamaRide Mombasa).
- A one-time licensing fee plus monthly operational fees (based on the number of drivers) will apply.
- Partners must follow MamaRide's policies regarding safety standards, marketing, and customer support.
